Q. Can I download an electronic book from the library, & if so how?
I would like to read an electronic book available via the library website (Electronic Book HN90.S6 H66 2000eb), but would like to be able to read it when offline. Is it possible to download it to something like Adobe Digital Editions? Thanks.
That particular book is sitting on Ebsco's platform (formerly NetLibrary), which permits you to e-mail or print PDFs, but only a maximum of 30 pages at a time. They do not permit you to download the entire book.
Downloading options vary considerably among the various vendors depending on their license arrangements with publishers.
