If you go to this website: http://library.unomaha.edu/research.topten.php, it will give you a list of the most common databases.  If you are not on campus you will have to enter your name and student ID number before using any of them.  The best place to start is Academic Search Premier.  If you search there using just the word "voting" you'll probably get several thousand results, so add more search terms if you can.

We also have some electronic books that could be useful.  If you go to our advanced search page: http://catalog.lib.unomaha.edu/search/X, enter the keyword "vote" or "voting" and select "e-book" from the material type menu, you will get several results.  Again, you might have to enter your name and ID before gaining access to these books.
