Hello,

I had to try a couple of databases but I believe the ABI-Inform Global database is a good place to start.  You can connect to it through the library's Database A-Z list under "A" at

http://libguides.unomaha.edu/A-ZList

There was a lot of international research on this topic so if you want to limit it to the United States you'll need to change a search field in the search boxes.  This is the search I did -

1st line - rural manufacturing

2nd line - educational attainment

3rd line - united states (here change the drop down from Anywhere to Location - it's a subheading under Subject)

Then after you get the search results, you'll see a list of Source Types.  I would suggest you select either Scholarly Journals or Trade Journals.

If you need further assistance, you might want to contact our business librarian Nora Hillyer at nhillyer@unomaha.edu

Regards,

Melissa
