I'm trying to get Zotero and an article in JStor synch up. the article is "Inventing the University" at 25: An Interview with David BartholomaeAuthor(s): David Bartholomae and John SchilbSource: College English, Vol. 73, No. 3 (January 2011), pp. 260-282Published by: National Council of Teachers of EnglishStable URL: http://www.jstor.org/stable/25790475 If you can help, that would be great. If this is outside the scope of the help you're able to provide, I certainly understand--I'll keep working on my own. 2nd question: Is there another Zotero-like thing that works well with Criss resources that you can recommend instead? Thank you.
Zotero appears to have made some changes to their software in late November or early December that have bedeviled its connectivity with JSTOR. When I searched for JSTOR in their Support forums, I found a number of complaints with some suggested workarounds. One's experience appears to vary according to the broswer version (Firefox, Explorer, Safari, etc.) and the Zotero version in use. If you've not already found a workaround, you may find a suggestion there that will help.
Criss Library subscribes to the RefWorks service for citation and bibliography management, and we have a research guide to help get started. Most of the library databases include an "export to RefWorks" facility, and it is relatively easy to use.
