Q. Do you have a resource available that would allow me to search for old newspaper articles from local papers (Omaha World Herald,Bellevue Leader)?

I'm researching a public contract and I am just curious if any articles were published about it. I've noticed on the newspaper websites you can only search about the last 30 days and this is a long-standing contract. Is there a way to search these through the library without going through issue by issue?

We subscribe to the America's Newspapers Database which covers the Omaha World Herald back to 1983. The database also covers the Lincoln Journal Star, Grand Island Independent, The Nebraska City News and York News. You can access it from the library's Database A-Z list at http://catalog.lib.unomaha.edu/search/y
