Q. Are visitors allowed to use the computers and even print if necessary in your library?
I'm a Creighton University student with student ID and local state id but I leave close to UNO library. My friend is temporarily visiting from overseas with just a passport, no id. Please advise if there is any restrictions and fees involved.
Yes, anyone can come and use UNO's public access computers (3 hour time limit) or if you have a laptop, you can hop on our open wifi to your heart's content. As a Creighton student, you will also be able to check out books. Visit the circulation desk when you come in and they will hook you up with computer access & library privileges (bring student ID).
Your visiting friend will also have wifi and public computer access. He will not be able to check out any books. Neither of you will have off-campus access to databases.
Printing: you can create a WEPA account online, and use your credit or debit card to print from a WEPA kiosk in the library: https://www.wepanow.com/
