The database Business Source Premier includes a collection of industry profiles for countries around the world.  I did a quick look and found a yogurt industry report for Japan for 2004.  For more current info, I checked to see if there was a dairy industry report for Japan and there is one from 2010.  You can access Business Source from the library top ten database list at

Also, you might look at the ABI-Inform Global database.  I searched for articles on the yogurt industry in Japan for just the last two years and returned over 100 articles.  You can access ABI-Inform Global from the library Database A-Z list at
