Sir/Ma'am,
I'm a graduate student down in Alabama working on a thesis about Afghan insurgents. Apparently your library has the most comprehensive collection of the Monthly Bulletin published by the Afghan Information Centre. So I was planning on taking a drive up there to review them, before I make the trip, can you please confirm the holdings on your webpage are accurate, and, are they available for non-students to use?
Thanks,
John Thorne
You may click here to jump to our catalog record, which describes the Monthly Bulletin and details our holdings. We have issues extending from No. 15 (1982) through Nos. 132-135 (1992).
You are quite welcome to visit and examine the issues in the Afghanistan Collection. I recommend that you contact Professor Shaista Wahab, who supervises the Afghanistan Collection (swahab@unomaha.edu ; 402-554-2404), to alert her to your visit and research. She would be happy to confer with you about the Monthly Bulletin and other materials which may prove of interest.

James Shaw, Director of Collections, Criss Library, UNO; jshaw@unomaha.edu
