Hello, Benjamin. To use any of the databases, you will need to be on campus to gain access. Only faculty and tuition paying students are granted off-campus access do to licensing agreements with our vendors. You may use our online catalog off campus in order to see what might be available in the library for research, especially since 1934 newspaper articles will be on microfilm (which you can print or save to a flash drive). The library is open to the public.
I hope this answers your question,
Emily McIllece, reference associate
