This may be more of a webadmin, but why, when I log into the "My Account Login," are the numbers of my NU ID shown, and yet, when I log into the CRISS Library for the online journal databases, the numbers that make up my NU ID are masked?
I noticed it, and I don't know why "My Library Account" shows my NU ID digits.

I understand this isn't a "Science" question.

If there is a particular reason why they set it up that way, I don't know what it is.

The web administrators all went home hours ago, but they are normally here during business hours.
