Formerly I could log on to my library account using my name and barcode number. Now I am asked to provide the barcode number and a password - I have no recollection of ever setting a password for library account access. Even so, I clicked the link to (re)set the password. Following the link from the resulting email opened a page asking for user name and a new preferred password. I don't know which "user name" it wants - it will not accept my full name, nor my email account name. What do I need to do to log on?
Since the catalog was switched on us, it has been necessary to resubmit passwords and ID numbers. I had to do it myself, and some students I have helped have done the same thing. I submitted my UNO ID number (the eight digit number on the front of my ID card) before resetting my password, so you might try that. Usually, a user name was one's first initial followed by their last name without a space, so if the ID number doesn't work, that would by my next suggestion. If you still can't get it to work for you, try calling the circulation desk at 554-3206.
