Hello, I was told your archives have pictures of a home that was torn down at 9800 Harney Parkway South. I am hoping you can verify and if it is possible to purchase copies? I am looking for any interior/exterior. I am not local (I live in CA) so I did not know if there is a charge could I pay by phone and you could email me the pics? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Our library does not have a print of the Watanabe (formerly Thiessen) mansion at 9800 Harney Parkway South. However, I was able to find three articles published in the Omaha World Herald that included photographs. The articles are in the PDF files attached to this message.
The Omaha World Herald sells prints through its online store (click here to go to their photo page). Each PDF filename includes the date and page to inquire about. Also note "Sunrise" or "Metro," which indicate the morning or evening edition of the newspaper.
