That is strange. Technically, you shouldn't have to put a hold on an ebook. Is should be available to multitple people at a time. Could you tell me what the book title was? Then we can try to figure out what is going on.
In the meantime, we checked the system and it shows two books on hold for you. One is First Class Citizenship. It is a print book and should be at the main desk under your name.
The second item is an electronic item - it looks like a government document. Is that the book that showed an expiration? It's just called Jackie Robinson and was from the FBI.
I was able to find it online at the FBI site. The url is
