Hi I'm not familiar with any databases, or resources that cover comedic writing. However I do write in my spare time, and something I've learned is to write what you know. I've always found humor to come through misunderstandings in situations. You could focus on immaturity, or point out character's faults in a situation. A couple of things I can probably think of off the top of my head:

1. "Toilet Humor" A wife tries to hurry her husband out of the bathroom, they end of insulting each other  their own faults.

2. You could try to put a humorous spin on the opposite sex, come up with a cheap pickup line.

Hope that helps.
