What search terms and databases have you tried? "New media" may need to be defined, such as "Internet" or "streaming video" "mobile," "Netflix" etc. As far as gender is concerned, what are you trying to find out? Are you looking at how gender is being represented, or are you looking at behavior patterns in men vs. women?

I would suggest you look in PyscInfo and Communication & Mass Media Complete, both of which are EBSCO databases and located under the databases tab's drop-down menu.
