Q. is there an easy way to search the criss library for books/certain topic that have professional reviews?

I don't know of a way of limiting a search of our holdings in that way.  There is another approach that you might consider, though.  If you go to this link page: http://unomaha.worldcat.org/openurlresolver/search and enter the titles of the journals you mentioned (Libraray Journal, etc.), you can search within those journals to see which books they have reviewed that might be of interest to you.  Once you have a list of titles, then you can search them individually in our catalog at http://library.unomaha.edu.  (When you do that, I recommend putting the titles in quotes.)
