See below on how I would set up your search. Also, once you find an article that is relevant to what you're looking for, you can also click on the subject headings on the article's abstract page to lead you to more results. You could also try using synonyms for poverty and education such as: hardship, underdevelopment, impoverishment, schools, and literacy. Go to thesaurus.com for more synonym ideas. There is also a built in subject thesaurus in Academic Search Complete. You could also search: "Latin America" AND poverty OR education to broaden your search results as well.
