Q. Can I check out a book for research purposes from the library? I'm a current artist in residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art.

I'm an artist doing research on islands and micronations. I'm looking for the book "Contest for the South China Sea" by Marwyn S Samuels. An online catalogue search show that you have the book in your collection. Would I be able to check out this book to facilitate my research while in residence at the Bemis Center? Thanks in advance,

If you are a current student you should be able to. If you are an alumni you'll need to get a card from the Thompson alumni center. With that card you would be able to sign up at a discounted price. If you don't have an affiliation with UNO then you're certainly welcome to sign up for what I believe to be a 25 dollar a year fee.
