I am researching narrative braiding in poetry for an MFA essay. There are apparently several synonyms for the term: discursive narrative and fractured narrative seem the closest. So far the Longman Dictionary of Poetic Terms is the best resource I have found, but it is 25 years old. Any suggestions on how to dig into this further? I live in Bellevue and can come over to Criss if that helps.
I haven't had much luck searching with the terms you suggested, but I an give you a few leads. The term "narrative sequence (or sequencing)" turned up a few times when I was looking around. I realize that's a broader concept than the one you are asking about, but you might be able to find some relevant material using that term.
I have attached an article from last year which deals with similar narrative concepts. The bibliography could lead you to some recent publications you can use.
If you enter the term "narratology and poetry" in the search box of our home page (http://library.unomaha.edu), that will give you a list of books and articles that have some relationship to your topic. Finally, if you do come to the library, you can find books dealing with Narratology and Discourse Analysis on the third floor. Many have call numbers beginning with P 302. You will also be able to use our databases to search for journal articles. The most helpful databses can be found in this list: http://libguides.unomaha.edu/az.php?s=28057
