Hi, I'm a graduate student working with a research team on campus, and I'm supposed to help merge video files, as well as convert some of them after they are merged. I have been trying to use the free version of Quicktime, but it is not working. I also tried to use Movie Maker, but it's creating pauses. I was wondering if there is anyone in the library that can help me with this problem - to find what software I can use (possibly software available in the library) and help me get started using it. Thank you for your time and help!!

I would recommend contacting the Creative Production Lab in Criss Library, which handles a lot of video production projects. They are open today 2-8pm, Monday through Thursday 9am-9:30pm, Friday 8am-5pm, and Saturday 12-4pm. Here is a list of the services/technology they can help with: http://libguides.unomaha.edu/c.php?g=100525&p=649649
If you have any questions, contact them: Jackie Skarda, jskarda@unomaha.edu, 402-554-2542
Advance appointments are recomended but not required.
I hope this helps! Feel free to write back with any more questions.
