Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Jill Schleck and I am a graduate student at „Universität zu Köln“ (University Cologne / Germany). At the moment, I am writing my master thesis about musical education for hearing impaired children.
I am facing the problem, that I can not find two important essays (neither in Cologne, nor in Germany or elsewhere).
I have even written to Univesity Kansas and University Gallaudet, but they could not help me.
The missing essays are the following :
Schatz, V. W. (1989). Framing the music/rhythm curriculum in a scope an sequence model.
In: A. A. Darrow (Ed.): Proceedings from the Second National Conference on Music and the Hearing Impaired at Gallaudet University.
page 81-84.
Ford, T. A. (1990): Development of Rhythmic Concepts and Skills.
In: A. A. Darrow (Ed.): Proceedings from the Second National Conference on Music and the Hearing Impaired at Gallaudet University.
Page 21-30.
If you have these two essays as a digital ressource will you send it to me? It is really important for my master thesis.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Jill Schleck
I think your best chance to obtain copies of the two conference papers is to contact Dr. Darrow directly. I cannot find any library holdings for the proceedings document via WorldCat, and it is not available in the ERIC database or any other source I try. I was unable to find additional information about the authors of the papers.
