What exactly does placing a book on hold mean? Would it be waiting for me at the front desk of the library when I pick it up? Or will I still search for it on the shelf?
"Those with current library accounts may place a hold on any circulating item, whether it is checked in or out. Holds may be placed via the "Request Item" button on the item's record page in the library catalog. Holds may not be placed by phone. There is a limit of 15 holds per person at any given time.
"Individuals who request holds will be notified via email when the item is available for pickup at the Main Service Desk. Print items will be held for seven days, media items will be held for three days."
Please call the Circulation Desk at 402-554-3206 should you have additional questions.
