It might be because you need a separate password for library use - that's the most common answer to this question.  If you haven't already, go the the "My Account" link at the upper left corner of our home page http://library.unomaha.edu and click the "Set/reset password" link in the box.  Enter your 8 digit student ID number in the box on the next page, and an email will be set to your UNO account that will let you set a password to use with the databases, ebooks, etc.  That password should get you online access to "Nature Neuroscience" from 1998 through March 2014 (the issues from the last 12 months are embargoed).
